This two piece, hand woven jacquard coverlet is blue and white. It measures 74" x 80" and is marked August Vogel (Indiana) 1851. There is some age darkening of the white, some staining and moderate wear especially where it was pulled up under the chin.
The border has floral vining and a checkerboard design that is striking. It is a summer/ winter coverlet.
