This blue painted domed box is fancifully painted in an abstract grain pattern. It measures 21" by 10 1/4" by 11". The paint is original and vibrant. It has the usual wear since it was made about 1840. The latch arm of the lock is loose but sits as it should. The hinges are intact and the wood construction remains structurally sound.
